Spend half a day coming home to nature to rest and recalibrate before the new week begins. Join Erin Lee from Mindful Moments in a 3-hour invitation to simply pause and reconnect with yourself through guided mindfulness meditation practices, indoor & outdoor time, reflections, journalling and intentional conversation. This mini retreat offers you the space and time needed to slow down to settle the mind and body; participants will walk away with a better understanding of coping with everyday stresses through simple mindfulness skills. 

This mini retreat is for you if:

  • You lead a busy, demanding life and would like to cope better with everyday stresses.

  • You want to find some space and time for yourself to slow down and settle the mind and body.

  • You would like to be guided in meditative practices that facilitate presence and connection with yourself.

  • You know the importance of mindfulness in maintaining your mental, emotional, and physical wellbeing.

  • You want to practice mindfulness and meditation regularly, with a like-minded group and under the guidance of a qualified teacher.​​


Highlights:

This 3-hour pause will include:

  • Guided mindfulness meditation practices in both stillness and movement, including breath and body awareness, body scan, mindful walking, mindful movements, mindful eating, etc.

  • Indoor and outdoor time

  • ​Reflections, journaling, and contemplative practices

  • Space for deep rest, silence, and screen sabbatical​

  • ​Teacher conversations and group sharing


Important notes:

Cushions, yoga mats, and chairs for use during practice will be provided.

  • You will only need to show up in comfortable clothing and be prepared to go barefoot while indoors.

  • Please bring your own water bottle to stay hydrated, and layers (sweaters, shawls, etc.) in case it gets cold. 

  • Feel free to bring along sunscreen, umbrella, caps/hats for sun and weather protection while outdoors.

  • If you'd like to do some journaling during the retreat, please bring your own writing materials.

About Erin Lee

Erin is a Mindfulness & Wellbeing Coach, dedicated to inspiring mindfulness as a way of life. A Certified Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) Teacher, Erin holds a Masters of Science in Studies in Mindfulness. Through her work as a trainer and coach, she teaches mindfulness as a set of attentional and awareness skills necessary for self-regulation and navigating the stresses of the modern world.


​Erin first founded Take A Pause as a regular gathering of urbanites who would like to practice mindfulness and wind down together after work in Singapore's business district. Today, Take A Pause has evolved into a global community meeting once a week on Insight Timer to share moments of mindfulness and contemplation.
