By deepening your self-awareness, you'll develop the mindset to grow and thrive, regardless of the external circumstances. In this one-day retreat, you'll experience expert-led practices such as mindful movement, breathwork, meditation, sound healing, and reflective journaling—all thoughtfully crafted to centre you, heighten your awareness, and restore clarity, focus, and balance in your life.

By turning inward and embracing a growth mindset, we can rise beyond our inner walls and flourish in ways we once thought impossible, illuminating our lives. Walk away feeling renewed, grounded, and ready to share your unique light with the world.

Welcome and Introduction: Planting the Seeds of Growth

Hosted by Wendy, Yoga Seeds

Wendy will give a warm welcome and introduce the retreat leaders and the day’s journey. You’ll be introduced to mindful silence, which will create fertile ground for your growth—just like a sunflower beginning its blossoming journey.

9.30 am - 10.30 am

Awakening with Sunrise Flow: Mindful Sun Salutations

Led by Yoga Seeds

Embrace the energy of a sunflower turning towards the sun in this Sun Salutations session. Connect breath with mindful movements to bring a heightened focus and awareness needed to nurture your inner growth. While cultivating clarity and focus, this mindful flow leaves you grounded, refreshed, and rooted.

10.30 am - 12.00 pm

Rooted in Strength: Mindfulness Body Scan & Breath Awareness

Led by Centre for Mindfulness

Like a sunflower deepening its roots, this body scan and breathwork session helps you tune into physical and emotional states. With non-judgmental awareness, you can connect with tension, relaxation, or even areas with discomfort, reflect on your strengths, and gain clarity on the unique qualities that nourish your inner resilience.

Nourishing Your Growth: Mindful Eating Experience

Led by Centre for Mindfulness

Experience the art of mindful eating during a silent, plant-based lunch. Just as the sunflower absorbs nutrients from the soil, you'll be guided to savour each bite—fostering a deeper connection to your body’s natural rhythms and nourishment.

1.00 pm - 2.30 pm

Resilience in Bloom: The 4 S's of Self-Resilience

Led by Sound to Ground

In this creative and introspective session, you'll explore the 4 S's of Self-Resilience: Stress, Self-awareness, Self-care, and Social support. Like the sunflower thriving despite harsh conditions, identify your stress triggers using the Gingerbreadman Body Scan and create a realistic personalised self-care plan, empowering you to grow and flourish with enhanced mental resilience and balance in your everyday life.

2.30 pm - 3.30 pm

Steps of Growth: Mindful Walking Meditation

Led by Centre for Mindfulness

In this walking meditation, connect with each step, feeling the earth beneath you. Like the sunflower grounding, this practice allows you to become fully present and attuned to your sensations, cultivating your awareness of both your internal and external experiences.

3.30 pm – 3.45 pm

Tea Break: Refreshing Your Bloom

Take a short break to refresh and reflect, nourishing your inner growth.

3.45 pm – 5.15 pm

Harmony in Bloom: Yin Yoga & Sound Bath

Led by Yoga Seeds + Sound to Ground

Rest deeply in this Yin Yoga and sound bath session. Like a sunflower absorbing nourishment, it helps you release tension and find stability and inner calm through gentle restorative poses and healing sound vibrations that ground you. Experience deep relaxation, emotional release and a renewed sense of peace.

5.15 pm - 6.00 pm

Embracing Your Inner Sunflower & Flourish: Closing Circle & Reflections

Led by Centre for Mindfulness, Yoga Seeds + Sound to Ground

In a safe and supportive space, reflect on your growth through silent journaling and meditation. You’ll be guided through setting realistic intentions to help you flourish beyond the retreat, like a sunflower blossoming from deep roots.
